Our Story & How We Support You
BurdenEase Bookkeeping is a family-owned and operated business, run day-to-day by husband and wife, Marky and Temari.
Everyone wants a business that runs smoothly, and we learned the hard way how much clarity in the numbers matter.
In 2023:
Marky launched a solo-preneur landscaping business in Hawaii. The work was thriving— 12-hour days, nonstop calls, income at its highest, and jobs booked out for weeks. But behind the scenes, the books were falling apart: late invoices, untracked payments, rising expenses, no monthly numbers, and no idea what tax season would bring.
The hustle was strong, but the financial system wasn’t, and the stress was heavy.

In 2024:
That’s when things changed. Marky and his wife, Temari, decided to take bookkeeping seriously. Temari dove into thousands of dollars’ worth of training programs, courses, certifications, and coaching. She cleaned up the books, built systems, and organized QuickBooks in a way that immediately lowered the pressure in their household.
For the first time, the numbers were clear. That clarity became the foundation for a plan to strategically build a foundation in the landscaping business—paying off every penny of debt, living below their means for a season, building a six-month emergency fund, and setting aside money for taxes ahead of time.
Once the chaos stopped, the debt was gone, the savings were beefed up, and taxes was saved for, the business was finally safe and had room to grow. Taking more risk from a place of strength instead weakness. Cash-flowing Better equipment, Purchasing larger marketing campaigns, and eventually the launch of a full bookkeeping business became possible because the financial foundation was finally solid.
Temari took the leap onto LinkedIn, shared this story, and her message resonated with business owners facing the same struggles. From there, she grew the client base slowly and organically. Temari grew confident, hired an accounting coach, and continued building her skills and dipping her toes into all different type’s of industries.

In 2025:
BurdenEase Bookkeeping is steadily growing.
Marky scaled back from landscaping, completed the same advanced bookkeeping programs, and now leads sales, client communication, in-person meetings and supports with some of the bookkeeping help, while Temari does the bulk of the bookkeeping behind the scenes.
Together, Marky and Temari have served business owners across Hawaii and the U.S., helping them clean up messy books, uncover financial “skeletons in the closet,” giving them back their time, bringing financial clarity to their numbers so they can start scaling with confidence and keeping them tax ready all year long—just like they once needed themselves.

• Right now our clients are paying $300-$500 on average. Could be more or could be less for you. Ranges anywhere from $250–$2,000/month depending on size & complexity
• To give an exact quote, we’ll need:
• Access to your QuickBooks Online account
• Or Your 3 most recent bank & credit card statements (shared via email, Google Drive, or your preferred cloud)
• Why? Because accurate pricing depends on your actual transactions and reconciliation needs
What you can expect:

Side Benefits:
One more benefit you get when working with us is we operate on a month to month basis so your not locked into anything long term. Hiring an in house bookkeeper can be expensive and time consuming. Salary.com say the median annual wage for a bookkeeping professionals is near 42K, plus training, taxes and benefits, thats up to about 4K a month youll be paying.
We charge a one time fee each month for our clients with no long term commitments, If you feel we may not be a good fit working together in the future We dont want to lock you in a long term commitment, we want you to have the freedom to find another bookkeeper that can fit your specific needs.
No pressure at all. So you have the option to opt out of our monthly services anytime.-As our client youll always have an open line of communication to us, our phone number to call at anytime for on going support with no charge. you will have access to our calendar link and can always schedule a video chat w us as well. If its easier for you of course you can always just email us anytime as well.
